Here's a good story. We was told that the Cav. was going to give the ARVN's a Jeep, so Maint. needed a jeep so SSG. Dorthy and me and two other guys went to the Batt.Moterpool were the Jeep was supposed to be, it was late when we got there,  so SSG Dorthy pretended to be the sergeant of the guard.  He didn't even have a shirt on,  the Guard that was on duty told SSG Dorthy he heard something in the back of the Moterpool, so the guard was told to go check it out, while he was gone we took the Jeep, as it turn out we got the wrong Jeep, we got the Regimental Chaplin Jeep We had stripped the Jeep when we saw a cross on the back seat, Lt. Drolett went to church and the chaplain said before he started service he wanted to pray for those sinners who took his Jeep.  Lt. Drolett made us put his Jeep back together and take it back to the Chapel, it turn out the Guard on Duty that night was the chaplain's driver. Hope you like the story.
